Hello,

I'm a little confused with adding a new virtual using an existing virtual disk.

I can add one just fine but when I try to open two VM's at the same time I get, "failed to lock the file".

I googled the error and found that removing the .lck file resolves the issue but it does not help with opening two VM's. There is always a .lck file after opening an initial VM.

Am I supposed to copy my .vmdk to another location?

In addition, I noticed that the new virtual directory doesn't contain its own .vmdk file. It is always pointin back to the original.

Did I just goof something up here?

Thanks!
